A unique composition featuring the rusting S.S. United States, victim of the advent of trans-Atlantic jet travel. While finally ceasing service in 1969, she still holds the Blue Ribband record as the fastest ocean liner to cross the Atlantic in either direction. I created this work and several others to vividly illustrate the rusting, once iconic ocean liner just before her ill-fated final journey from Philadelphia in 2025 to become an artificial reef.

This is a one-of-a-kind limited edition of a single print in this size and artistic mounting, printed to the highest standards with archival pigment ink on photographic paper. The print is mounted in a 20”x24” metal frame, which has been "aged and rusted” to complement the condition of the iconic ocean liner, creating a unique art piece.
